April Newsletter No. 2

Good morning to all,   

Monday 7th April

Today we have the Blood Donors here starting from 11am through to 6pm upstairs in the lounge.

Tuesday 8thApril

The membership draw for the afternoon has reached $500 and has to be claimed. Swipe your card to enter the draw and win! If not claimed on the first draw it will be divided up into 4 lots of $125. Housie is in the morning starting at 10am upstairs. The Senior lunch special for $12 will be option 1:  Spaghetti Bolognaise, option 2: Mini Quiche and Salad. In the evening we have Indoor Bowls and Darts both starting at 7pm in the downstairs bar. Country Music is upstairs in the lounge at 7pm.

Triple Points every Tuesday:   every purchase you will receive triple points. We also offer a $30 steak special served with potato mash and salad.

Wednesday 9th April

500 card group upstairs in the lounge at 12:3pm. Downstairs Euchre plays at 7pm.

Thursday 10th April

Membership draw this week is $1200. Bottom Bar swindle will be run as normal downstairs. The $1 door draw and meat raffles run on the night in both bars. Live entertainment is Armand and Geri starting at 7pm

Friday 11th April

Handle Club draw is $100 this week held in the downstairs bar.

Sunday 13th April

Mitch French is entertaining downstairs 3pm – 6pm

Restaurant:

Tuesday $30 steak specials along with blackboard meals. Wednesday ribs special plus blackboard specials, Thursday Buffet, bar meals and blackboard specials. Friday is family night. Saturday is blackboard specials plus the restaurant menu. Monday and Sunday restaurant is closed.

Club Van:

Operates Thursday through to Saturday starting at 4pm. Please keep in mind the van travels a radius of 10km from the Club. Donations are gratefully appreciated to held with the running costs. To book the van call 0211684171or contact the club during working opening hours 9am to 4pm.

Committee Nominations:

Forms are now available from the office or the notice board on display if you would like to nominate a member for office this year or if you would like to be nominated. Requirements are: have to be a financial member for the past two years. Your proposer and seconder also have to be financial members of the club for at least one year.

Upcoming Events:

Saturday 12th April: Children Easter Party – 1pm-3pm  (cancelled)

Sunday 13th April:  Mitch French downstairs 3pm-6pm

Friday 25th April:  Karaoke with Fee and Marsh 7pm – 10pm

Friday 2nd May:  Night markets in upstairs lounge $20 (due to circumstances this has been changed from April 25th).        

Sunday 4th May:  Hoe Down 4pm – 7pm upstairs in the lounge
