June Newsletter No. 2

Good morning members,

Tuesday 10th June

The membership draw will be $400 drawn between 1pm and 3pm. Our senior lunch special will be option 1: Chicken Wrap and Fries,option 2: Pumpkin soup with bread roll. Entertainer will be Mike Derecourt. In the evening we have Quiz night starting at 7pm upstairs in the lounge.

Wednesday 11th  June

500 card group play upstairs 12.30pm. Euchre card group play downstairs at 7pm. Wine tasting evening is upstairs in the lounge starting at 7pm. Tickets are $30 pp which includes food to compliment the wines. The wines are from Mission Estate – Hawkes Bay region, introducing Mission Estate range and Stables range of wines. Thursday 12th June

Membership draw is back to $300 this week and the draw will happen between 6:30 - 8:30pm.  If you have renewed your membership and not received your card, you can collect it in the downstairs bar.  Entertainment will be Armand and Geri starting at 7pm.

Friday 13th June

Handle Club in the downstairs bar and is worth $100 this week.

Saturday 14th June

We have an open function (members 70th Birthday) in the upstairs lounge and the entertainment for the evening will be Armand and Geri starting at 7:30pm.

We are now open for breakfast Saturdays and Sundays 8am – 11am. For bookings phone 09 2359131 ext 5

Election 2025-2026: Due to nominations exceeding the limit we need for committee this year, there will be an election. Voting will be held here at the club on the Saturday 28th June before the AGM, hours between 9am and 7pm. Voting papers will be available on Saturday 28th June here at the club.

Club Annual Report 2024-2025: this is now available as a hard copy. You can collect a copy from the office between the hours of 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday. We will be sending a copy of the Club Annual Report out to members via email for those of you who have registered emails on our database. We hope to have it out early this week.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP: these are now due. You can pay online or come into the office and pay your membership.  For those of you who have already paid your membership, would you please collect your card from the downstairs bar.         

Beats by Bingo Saturday 19th July : this is a musical bingo show hosted by a talented DJ and comedian. Leave all your preconceptions of bingo at the door, as this is not your average bingo night! Instead of numbers on your bingo cards its song titles! So, if this is for you, gather a team together... up to 10 people at only $5pp and register your team here at the Club office
